I have just started using evolution for my email recently. It is very easy to use but doesn't seem to be wondefully stable at the moment. I warn you that I crash things particularly easily (something to do with more hurry less speed) so something I find very easy to crash your normal computer user will probably find no difficulty with. I have used evolution to syncrhonise to my pda addressbook. It worked. The only problem was that I ended up with mutliple copies of all my addresses (i had been doing some experiementing and don't think I had the settings qutie correct). I do like how mail, callender, addresses etc are all with in easy reach and asside from being able to crash it relatively easily I have no problems with this alternative to thunderbird (which I managed to crash even easier!)
